Privacy Policy
How we handle data
Applies to use of pubswipe.app.
What data we process
PubSwipe is a comparison platform. In most cases, you can use the site without creating an account or directly sharing personal data with us.
We may still process technical and usage data such as page views, device and browser information, referral data, language settings, and approximate location derived from an IP address. If you contact us, we also process the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message content.
Why we use that data
We use data to keep the site working properly, measure performance, detect errors, prevent misuse, and respond to questions.
We also use aggregated insights to understand which cities, filters, and pages visitors use most so we can improve PubSwipe.
Legal basis and retention
Where needed, we process data based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe and usable platform. When you contact us directly, we process your message so we can handle your request.
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless we need to retain it longer to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers that help us host, analyze, or secure PubSwipe, but only to the extent needed to operate the service.
When you click through from PubSwipe to an organizer or partner website, that third party's privacy policy applies from that point onward. We are not responsible for how external websites handle personal data.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing activities.
For privacy questions or requests, you can contact us through the contact page. We review each request under the law that applies to it.
Terms of Use
What you can expect from PubSwipe
PubSwipe's role
PubSwipe helps visitors discover and compare pub crawls by city. We do not organize events ourselves, sell tickets, or process payments on the platform.
Bookings, availability, pricing, cancellation terms, and delivery of an activity are handled by the organizer or provider you ultimately book with.
Information on the platform
We do our best to present information accurately and keep it up to date, but details can change whenever an organizer updates an offer.
Information on PubSwipe is therefore informational in nature. Always check the provider's website for final terms, starting location, age requirements, and availability before booking.
Acceptable use
You may use PubSwipe for personal, non-misleading, and lawful purposes. You may not disrupt the site, scrape large amounts of data in an automated way, bypass security measures, or submit false information through our forms or contact channels.
We may take protective action if usage harms the operation, safety, or reliability of the platform.
Third-party links
PubSwipe contains links to organizer websites and other third-party services. Once you click through, you leave our platform.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, prices, terms, or privacy practices of external websites and services.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PubSwipe is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, missed bookings, or damage resulting from the use of or reliance on information provided by third parties.
Nothing on this page limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms when the platform, our practices, or applicable laws change. The most recent version will always be published on this page.
